Stanford Triathletes
All members of the Stanford community are welcome - that includes students, alumni, faculty, staff, and their spouses. Subscribe to the triathlon mailing list (send an e-mail to triathlon-join@lists.stanford.edu) to get all the team announcements. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to email the list and ask. You'll probably receive more advice than you could ever need! Or if you don't want to e-mail the whole list, you can e-mail our New Member Coordinator.
Affinity MultiSport
Affinity Multisport is a closely connected community of athletes who enjoy training and racing together.
Affinity Multisport was developed out of a need for a multisport community in the peninsula region. Affinity Multisport was created in April 2010 by Gina Kehr who brought her 15 years as a professional triathlete and used that to develop the foundation of Affinity Multisport. It’s purpose is to provide a dynamic environment for any coached or non-coached athlete to train and/or find that like minded member in the community it provides.
Its aim is to develop athletes’ abilities from an educational and teaching philosophy allowing them to reach their full potential. Gina’s coaching philosophy can be said in one simple and popular statement: “Give a man a fish and he eats for a day, teach him to fish and he eats forever.”
